If you're interested in a weekday meet I can meet on mon, wed, Thursday. The other days I work during the evening.

daleks 09-13-2010 11:32 AM

Saw a white 370Z on Broadway last night. I waved, but got no love. Not that I was looking for love on Broadway though... :wtf2:

Also, I can meet sometime during the week and on the North side.

Titan1080 09-14-2010 02:11 PM

Southcenter meet this Saturday? I got to head down to Auburn so I'll be heading that direction anyways.

I think the weather on Saturday is supposed to be terrible. Weekday nights were mentioned up North. How about Wednesday evening at Alderwood? I want to peek at someone's tail lights so I can compare fitment of my JDM's before I put the trunk plastic back in.

Titan1080 09-14-2010 11:37 PM

I can swing down to Alderwood tomorrow. What time were you thinking?

res0zsfa 09-15-2010 12:05 AM

Yes, what time?

Nitex 09-15-2010 11:34 AM

Im hoping to get my wheels and tires on, as my tracking number says they should arrive today around 3-4pm. I wouldn't mind joining you all if i can get them installed today, i can bring my nikon DSLR for some nice pics.

daleks 09-15-2010 12:05 PM

I'm open on the time. Sunset is at ~7:30PM though so if we're looking for daylight it should be closer to that time. I don't want to rush anyone putting on their rims though. :D

Is there a well lit parking garage in the complex? I know there are some by the movie theater, but it gets crowded. There is a garage on the other side too, but I'm not sure.

Nitex 09-15-2010 12:12 PM

If all goes well, i should be mounted and balanced by 5ish. My springs wont be on till the weekend though.. oh well.

Alderwood Mall Directory - Top Stores, Shops, Brands in Seattle / Lynnwood, Washington

I don't see the parking areas on this map.

Google Maps shows a parking garage on the Northwest side between the Subway and Nordstroms. Maybe start outside there and if the weather goes bad move it inside?

azn370z 09-15-2010 01:24 PM

There is a garage near Nordstrom and I'm sure Its not crowded during the evening.

Nitex 09-15-2010 02:29 PM

The parking garage by Nordstrom should be less busy than the one by the theaters.

Brought my car to the shop on lunch break. Its up on the racks getting springs in! They scared me with, "what if it takes till 8pm..." But then they put it right up on the rack. Hopefully they get done sooner rather than later.

Titan1080 09-15-2010 03:29 PM

To throw a time out there, 6pm on the top floor of the Nordstrom's parking garage? I've been down there and that garage hardly fills up the ground floor this time of day and year.

azn370z 09-15-2010 03:45 PM

I get off at 6 so I will be there 6:30, top floor nordstroms garage.

daleks 09-15-2010 04:07 PM

I'll be there ~6:30PM as well. Should the weather be bad I'll be one floor down.

Nitex 09-15-2010 05:50 PM

Well the shop is taking thier sweet time with my spring install. Now im not sure i can make the tire shop in time to swap sensors blah blah. If they dont hurry up i may not make it. :shakes head:

Nikon FM 09-15-2010 06:40 PM

I can't do the meet tonight. Pics in a garage was the rage…. winter 2009 ….showing my forum age

Titan1080 09-15-2010 06:56 PM

6:30 sounds good, gives me some more Halo time....

azn370z 09-16-2010 12:36 AM

Let's see the pics of the meet.

Will do guys, work starts so early for me i haven't had the chance to upload them. I may be able to do it during lunch  Was fun and nice to meet you all. I wish i could have stayed longer but my brother wanted to see my setup and my bed time keeps getting earlier and earlier haha.

Everyone's cars looked great! i really liked your Varis front lip azn. And Daleks JDM's looked good also. I think the fitment is close enough to give me a go, i will be ordering them sooner or later.

And if it wasn't for pesky mall cops we should have taken more time and backed up into the stalls. Oh well, next time. I saw him eying me as i was leaving.

Also as i was coming down 164th into mill creek a blue 370z past me was that you titan?

daleks 09-16-2010 02:38 PM

Yeah the mall security guy actually stayed there while I was hooking up my iPod and talking on my cell phone. As soon as I went down the ramp he scooted off. Honestly he should've been more worried about the guy in the white Civic with the yellow headlights that circled around us three times. He was obviously waiting to see if we were leaving our cars unattended.

A friend of mine is the marketing manager for U Village. I'll see if she will give us a pass on 'assembling' on their premises. During the Summer they already host a Cars & Coffee event for classic cars. Or we could just stick to the Barnes & Noble parking lot in Southcenter since that seems to be working. There is also Golden Gardens, which is a park so no one can tell us to leave. However, if the SPD wants to come and try to write illegal mod tickets (no front plate, no cats, modified exhaust, etc.), then it could be troublesome.

I figured lol! I always forget about going over I5 past best buy and what not, if thats the way you went.

You had to fly home to Halo i would guess :icon17:

azn370z 09-16-2010 04:28 PM

The mall is definitely not a place to have a meet. If we want to meet outside there is plenty of parking on the side of the bridal store next to best buys. The u village works too. Let me know if you guys want to have a weekday meet again. I don't think I'll be able to go to any Saturday meets.

Nitex 09-16-2010 06:00 PM

Ok guys they didn't turn out as well as i hoped. My camera wasn't happy with the lighting. I also vote for a new location next time! And more Z's

Those pics are great I like how the people in the background don't have heads, just steam rising.

How do you like the TEIN springs so far? Was thinking about getting them for my Z. How much of a drop so far?

Nitex 09-17-2010 12:58 PM

Tj I'm holding off on a deep dive review till i have a few more miles on them. So far build quality is excellent, and my shop liked them very much. Supposedly so much so, one of the employees was swearing on buying a 370+tein springs :icon17:. Initially i was worried about the rear drop, but i forgot i had removed my spare and all my tools/fittings etc. After putting everything back in it seems to have evened out some with the front. Also I'm hearing these springs sag a good bit. In the end expect over a 1" drop all around. Some say closer to 1.4 in front, and 1.2ish in the rear. So far I'm very satisfied with ride and build quality.

For more pics check out my370z album on my profile. I will update in a week or so once sag has come down, and i have a better impression of the ride.

:ninja3: Advertised drop is .87F .75R with a max of .05 sag. But as other 370z + tein spring owners have commented, this is a very conservative number.

Titan1080 09-17-2010 04:05 PM

:ninja3:I'm now definitely not stopping in Southcenter, I got to be in Auburn in the morning now...:(

For the north-end guys, the Burgermaster in Bothell is a good place for future meets, has a nice covered area and they love having car meets there, good burgers too.

That would be a good place as long as there wasn't another meet there.
