i have a 2013 touring sports auto, 12k miles on this bad boy.
its my daily driver , ill be driving this in the winter for the first time but NOT when it snows or blizzard, a day or 2 before i will put it away until the snow weather is over.

If u plan on driving it during the winter u need to get winter tires, they will not only help when it snows but when the temperature drops u will have no grip with your OEM

I have a 25 row and even yesterday I had a tough time getting oil temps up. No matter what you get you will need to block off the air flow to the oil cooler. Something as simple as tape will do or you can be fancy and get a piece of sheet metal and some industrial velcro and use that. Be mindful of the summer tires if thats what you have on, they do not work anything close to what they are like in the summer. Winter tires as mentioned are a good option even if you're not driving in the snow.

Should I add the oil sandwich plate adapter thermostatic ? YES
Protective hose wrapping? Not necessary. Unless you're talking thermal wraps on intake/exhaust which will help in the summer.
Setrab core? I like them, so yes
