Try hackensack nj. There is a touch free car wash bay with undercarriage feature.

Bananaz 01-30-2015 02:52 PM

I can't find any near old bridge nj : / unless I didn't search it right

6MT-Z34 01-30-2015 02:54 PM

I think he lives in CT lol but yeah we have one here in Hackensack that you can drive to lol

6MT-Z34 02-01-2015 10:52 AM

Curious but who will be down to have a Fast and Furious meet for when the movie comes out? If your down to go, what will be the movie theatre you prefer to go? We can find one that is in a center location to most of us  I'll start:

6MT-Z34
1. Kerasote Movie Theatre in Secaucus NJ-nice reclinable chairs, good parking, not expensive, food restaurants in driving/walking distance

2. Multiplex Cinema in Edgewater NJ-good parking, a bit expensive, food places in driving distance

kevink0621 02-01-2015 01:30 PM

There is one in ridgefield park. Chair is very comfortable!

Yeah, that's another option, the seats are the same as the ones in Secaucus which they recently updated

I'll keep an eye out for them.

Random question im looking for some opinions on, do you think i should get a tune up after fi cbe, fi hfc, intake? or is there something else i should add before the tune up. Im looking into UPREV for a local tune. any suggestions?

nismolucino 02-04-2015 11:25 PM

Rt tuning in pa and yeah do the tune after all 3

6MT-Z34 02-05-2015 05:36 AM

Welcome!!

I agree with Nismolucino, I been to RAD in NY and they do a great job but have also heard many great things about RT in PA, since your in central jersey it would be better to go to RT

Yeah I would get it after all that. I mean you could also get a new pulley system as well. I'm not too sure about the Uprev though, you get only like +10-15 hp for 500 bucks. I feel like a private tuner can do better than that

An uprev tune is still a dyno tune your not going to get more than 10-15hp no matter where you go. But thats only peak hp anyway i picked up alot in the midrange almost 30ftlbs in some areas.

Well I'm not too knowledgable in the tuning industry, just know that turbo'd cars are much easier to tune to get more power. Is the uprev tune a "pre configured" tune that we just pretty much get uploaded to our cars or is the car actually tuned based on its mods? I know for my Bmw, there were tunes which were just uploaded, didn't matter what bolt ons you had. It was the safest way of getting the car tuned and get some added power...but oh so expensive.

Bananaz 02-05-2015 07:36 AM

no Uprev is a dyno tune that your tuner tweaks not just an uploaded rom file and done lol

Oh well that's good. I'll most likely get the Uprev down the road once my warranty expires for the shear purpose that it's safe. Then I'll probably spend a stupid amount of money to boost the Z and totally regret spending all this money on my NA motor. But hey, that's what being an enthusiast is about haha :eekdance:

nismolucino 02-05-2015 09:18 PM

Warranties are over rated lol. If you do plan on turboing it I really dont recommend lth's just do tp's or hfc's its a similar gain and you wont spend as much for now. You obviously get more top end out of lths but you also loose some low end.

I'm down for these places. Multiplex has a better location with more parking, but with F&F7 who knows what good parking is.

Minsu 02-15-2015 12:59 PM

Now, how much do u charhe if ppl bring there own parts

jdmjayjay 02-15-2015 02:03 PM

Our labor rate is $100 An hour. .depends on what parts you bring. Generally we dont work on people's cars who bring thier own parts unless they are genuinely acceptable quality aftermarket parts with warranty or oem parts ONLY. We dont mind customers bringing thier own parts as long as they are the same quality parts we would recommend.

Minsu 02-15-2015 02:06 PM

Yeesh, thats alot of doh.

jdmjayjay 02-15-2015 03:41 PM

100 an hour is about average in our area. we are neighbors with hawthorne nissan so we just try to stay cheaper then our competition. also there are 20 dealerships in a five mile radius so we stay less then them but more then your average shop..come in or call one day we are flexible especially this time of year when it gets slow.

My buddy owns a shop in Sayerville called Champion Autosport. Great guys with a real chill environment. If you decide to go, tell them your friends with Benny from 370z forums, and he'll hook you up.

///maestro 02-17-2015 05:22 PM
