Yes. A lot of people that buy Zs from lots usually settle for whatever is on the lots that dealers order, because they didn't want to wait for their specific car. Others ask their dealer to order them one (there's a lot of 'order' thread in the forum) and wait like 3-4 months for the car. Of course, there is that group of people who get lucky and find a dealer who does have exactly what they want.

Me, I got extremely lucky with my car. I wanted a fully loaded 6MT Black Cherry, and the last one in the region was near Canada in Niagara Falls. It was one of the last 3 new ones with those same options in the country. We had it flat bedded from another Nissan dealer, cost me an extra $500, but Legend Nissan covered half of it - so it was all good with me.

Otherwise, I'd have waited like 3 months for an order, or settled on a loaded white car, which wasn't my first choice. Plus, I had a VPP coupon to get the car at $2K below invoice at the time, so I absolutely had to get the car back then.
