Default NJ car insurance best options?

I am just curious what insurance the nj people have and what they are paying. I just finished paying off my 09 370z and it is my primary vehicle. Those of you that share the same burden as me and swap winter wheels for the snow I was contemplating on buying a used truck for the winter. That being said, I've heard about car insurances with similar coverages , that have "sport/classic car packages" in which the sports car would be set as your secondary vehicle whilst the truck or which ever vehicle would be set as your primary and you would save a lot more money as opposed to just having insurance for a 370z , in my case geico, and pay astronomical insurance cost (140 per month). Anyone know anything about this???? Can anyone provide their insurance company or one that has these package options? ??

its kinda hard to answer your question since everybody will always have a different rate based on age, driving years, driving record etc...for example you pay 140 a month for your Z and say its a lot, which for me it will be a great price, i used to pay 305 for just they Z but now i pay 275 for the Z and a subaru but thats after a few discounts and stuff lol

Ahh I see. I'm not paying a lot when compared to standard insurance companies with similar coverage for the z as my primary vehicle. But have you ever heard of grundy's (not sure about spelling) ? It's an insurance company I think based in PA that offers sport/classic car packages if used as a secondary car...

I have a pretty spotless driving record. No points/moving violations, one accident a long time ago (almost 10 years) and I pay about what you pay monthly, $140ish, which seems like a pretty good price for full coverage in NJ.

$140 is great for NJ, back in my 20's when I was still living there my car insurance was $300 a month just because I was under the age of 25!!! Hated that dam state!!!

Yeah its known that Nj pays the highest car insurance. I've had geico for a while, and was looking into NJManufacturing, but I think geico is still cheaper.

I was just curious because I was trying to weigh my options out: keep car change in between my summer and winter wheels setup, keep car and buy an AWD beater for the winter (if I can find that sports/classic car package), or finally, which i do not want to do, sell my z

I went from allstate to NJM and saved about $250/year. Then when I moved out to a slightly rural area and added home owners too via NJM saved $550. NJM (if you qualify via work) is worth calling. They are very strict about you qualifying first.

I pay $700 (Every 6 months) for TWO vehicles Z and a Toyota. Full coverage with Geico. Don't understand why people are paying so much!
