Who's gonna be a first to take a dremel to the rear bumper and cut out that ugly black void? I met a few people who did that to their 370z and it looked awesome, seeing into all the guts of the car

Considering how tall that black part of the rear bumper is, it would give people a lot to look at

I’m fine with the rear. I just wish the front was more “V1-nismo-bumper-like”. I think slight redesign looks great.

Did I miss anyone posting that the new Z can be ordered in 1 color - instead of paying extra for the two-tone (with black roof).

Saw one today in the wild on the dealerships floor. Pictures do not do this car Justice. Dealer asking $65,000 and it’s certainly not worth that but there were 5 people standing around it ogling. Salesman basically said they don’t even want to sell it.

Sat in it and other than the digital dash there is ABSOLUTELY no difference from the 370. Interior is exactly the same to me.

I’ll post some pics when I can figure out how to do it, but like I said, you really need to see it in person.

I should mention that this was the base model. Cloth seats and an auto.

I was going to raise you the 72k base model grey for sale in Gainesville, but lo and behold it’s actually gone now. I saw it outside of town the other day. I think someone traded their 2011 base Z in for it as it’s for sale on the dealer site. I cannot believe anyone bought it. 72k.

I just can't disagree more. The 370Z is a better looking car from every angle. The new Z is boring in comparison. What you see in pics is what you get. It does not look any better in person (as I hoped it would).

Same. That’s why I was interested to see the one locally, and after being allowed to look at it without being harassed my wife and I walked away agreeing the 370Z reigns supreme in looks. Only thing on the new Z I wish mine had was the engine and driveline. Oh well.

I'm not sure. More HP and faster, yes. But I have 2 work friends who had Infinitis with the turbo engine and they both had turbo issues 2 and 3 times. After doing a lot of research its a fairly common issue that doesn't go away. So they both got rid of their cars.

I also like that the 370 has hydraulic steering. I have yet to drive a car with electronic steering that felt right. But admittedly I've not driven 50 cars either.
