Hope the carbon fiber diffuser and side skirts are a option as it looks good.

Neat video. I sense more details are coming soon.
Let's see, I think the trees in that Nissan Z video indicate a fall release.

Also, no love for the Z31! Blasphemous!

Does anyone else prefer the bottom lip blacked out or is it just me? Helps show off those sharp "fangs" better and looks more aggressive imo.

I prefer the proto's style, but my preference is always conservative in styling.

Patents filed for the AU. Keep in mind the US spec could be slightly different as regulations are quite the same. show what appears to be the production model of the new Z. Basically exactly like proto. Few differences I noticed is the in the front grille you can a what looks like a cruise control radar, along with some sensors at the front and rear (possibly blind spot monitor sensors), keyhole for the trunk, keyhole and lock/unlock button for the drivers side door, and rear side markers. If I missed anything feel free to add.

EDIT: I could be wrong, but I just noticed after looking at the front again it looks like they added some kind of a body panel behind the grille to hide the big rectangle look!

Ironically these renders can also make the car more attractive in the sense they reveal the cuts more clearly.

It does look longer vs. stubby, and maybe people who saw the car in person already saw it this way.

I can't tell if they're the same or not. I can't imagine Nissan doing anything other than taking this engine from the Q60 and doing slight tweaks to it based on their learnings from it's years in the Q60 and the additional hard driving testing that would need to be done for a Z product.

Should be sweet. It HAS to have 400hp though.

That's definitely the VR30 under the hood. The 3 pressure caps match up the Infiniti engine bay. The engine cover is different shape and partly painted yellow, but that's just fluff.

BTW, won't matter if the engine is 300HP or 400HP or somewhere between. With the Q60s, the gap between 300HP and 400HP is effectively closed with a tune. The 300HP motor can be brought right up to the RS 400HP motor with minimal money, and from there both engines tune up about the same.

There's quite a few people who are tuning 300HP Q50 and Q60's because the RS package can be much more money.

It'll have 400HP for sure. To be honest at this point I don't really see them offering a 300HP version ever. And also you have to realize that not everyone tunes their cars. In fact I'm sure a majority of buyers won't at all or at least until after the factory warranty is up.

Also is anyone else wondering why they aren't releasing ANY new info on the new Z since the Proto reveal? I've heard multiple car media sites say the car is expected Spring/Summer of this year. I know COVID delays and such but not even a test mule has been spotted anywhere. Perhaps they're having issues with the car in some capacity? At this rate I don't think we'll see it hit production until 2022.

So you're trying to tell me those sites might not know when the new Z is getting released?
