Well the sports coupe market is hot right now so not sure who's buying these types of cars but someone is. To me the argument about a Z not selling is just not valid. It's not selling because there are other competitors listening to their target demographic and giving them what they want.

Ford just released details on the 2018 Mustang, and it will have a 10speed auto option, magnetic ride, dual mode exhaust, more power, twin disc clutch, a digital dash, and a whole heap of other improvements. That's an example of competing and staying with the times.

They can do whatever they want to the Mustang but it won't change the fact it's a Ford.

No argument there. I owned an IS before I bought the G. I know all about falling behind the competition.

Saying things like it's still a Ford is ignorant. What exactly does that mean anyway?

I don't want a Mustang. Cool package but too large for my tastes. The point is that they are continually developing and evolving their car, listening to their target audience along the way. That keeps excitement up and improves the product. It also keeps them competitive.

Nissan isn't selling Z's not because people just don't buy Z's. It's because they are neglecting it.

If you don't know what it means, then you would be the ignorant one. Master the English dictionary first buddy.

See Chuck.... It's posts like this one that turns me up then I verbally slice Foolz up on the forum. It's not about me being right.... it's about dudes like this coming out his *** based on a different opinion.

This right here and elite fanboyism are my forum peeves.

Then there was Zcon in toronto where mad Mike remember me. Probably cause I was the only asian there ahhahahhahaahha.

This is why they need to continue the z legacy. It has a cult. Yea an elitist cult following that has deep roots.

R&T posted a great article on our cars and I totally agree with everything said. It's that car that many people aren't paying attention to but deserves more credit. But it also deserves for Nissan to pay it more attention. I'm not even worried about the body changing as much as the interior updating and at minimum, putting that red sport engine in the Nismo. It deserves the attention....

Good find! Its really similar to what I feel like the 370z will go down as once its gone. I had the S2k back in 2008 when it was still in production and it got alot of the slack that the 370z gets right now(old compared to the competition) but when it went out of production it only took a couple years for people to start appreciating what it really was.. a great car.

Great article and exactly how I feel about the current car. It's awesome and will be missed when it's gone.

Still hoping for a new one though.

Old thread, but personally I'm hoping for the powertrain from the Q50 Red Sport 400 maybe even in a rear wheel drive format. It's GTR motor family 3.0l TT AWD 400 hp
