Sure, didn't stop them from offering one on the previous models.

Agree. I just shed a tear every time a manufacturer drops the option of a manual transmission. That's the first thing on my check list of car features.

i like the inside, that's about it

MagmaRed370z 01-11-2016 01:02 PM

I like the 400 HP option. Inside is awesome. Outside I'm pretty sure it'll grown on us.

Waiting on some Z35 news though.

ehhh. manual is kinda dead technology anymore.

aside from the "its an enthusiasts choice" or "its the only way to feel connected" :bs:

njobe89 01-11-2016 01:13 PM

manual is the only choice... every time i see someone driving a automatic i think that they are handicapped or missing a foot/leg so they can't drive a manual and need an automatic.

in europe automatics were laughed at. i'm sure times have changed and there's a lot of automatics there too now.

I have owned manuals, I can drive manuals, I think the speed and efficiency of the new AT's is the way to go.

say what you want but it's purely a fact that they are better.

I mean if you all love manuals so much and wont go elsewhere I guess you'll never own a GTR, Lambo, Ferrari, Mclaren, etc...

nope... that's the exact reason i don't own a gtr or any of those

and the fact that i don't have the money for them lol

AT perfect shifts all the time.

UNKNOWN_370 01-11-2016 01:34 PM

The 7AT is phenomenal. As I test drove other shiftable autos as time went on I realize, Nissan was ahead of its time with its slush box. Now updated and enhanced to hold more power in the infiniti brands. I'm sure it only got better... The DRM feature on the 7AT which is the father of SRM brought the Jatco to having a DCT-like feel rarely duplicated by other slushies.

:iagree:

my 2009 being an older 7AT is still better than many paddle shifted AT's.

chevy just caught up with the 8L90. that is actually a pretty good tranny.
