Has anyone done a Q60 --> Z35 photoshop mock up? For all the rendering variants I've seen (including several with that eye stinging Maxima-esque front grill), I don't recall seeing one that was based on the most likely platform for a new Z. |

I found this review. It will answer your questions. And IM SURE the Z community they're referring to, is this forum... it's fvckin pathetic already. This review is right about one thing. For as long as our Z has been out.... NISSAN SHOULD HAVE DONE A MAJOR INTERIOR REFRESH. I think the outside isholding up fine. Especially the Nismo version. It's our fuckin disgustingly outdated interiors killing our car. N that lack of a 400hp turbo Anger over a lack of a new Z is spilling over into everything Nissan does. They should have brought out a new Z before attempting to bring out Nismo sentra's and what not. Or they should be creating some kind of buzz, like Toyota does. The Silvia should have come back with the Juke engine... AT LEAST. Nissan is doing it wrong. But anyway.... Here's the review. |

20!7 Japanese Nismo Z police cars

Sure they fixed everything wrong that was wrong with the 350z. But if they were really trying to innovate. The Z would have come out in mid 2007 as a 2008 model. That said the 2013 progress could have happened in 2011 and this Nismo in 2013. By mid 2015, we should've been in a Z35. But the Z stall isn't the worst thing that happened from Japan in my book... The worst thing that happened was the killing of the Evo. The Evo was the pricepoint forced induction performance king and it's Gone!!! It disrupted the whole Japanese sports car game. It leaves people not needing to compete. The Z is there because there's no real competitor. Let Chevy come back with Pontiac's solstice, with an improved suspension, more cargo room and a more ergonomic coupe option with camaro/ corvette inspired suspension. And that will be the nail in the coffin on the current Z if it is not redesigned. The way Chevy has been operating. That's not a far fetched thought. Nissan doesn't even truly have to be revolutionary. They can be evolutionary off of the Nismo version of our cars and put in a 400hp engine and they'd be golden. The only thing they'd really have to do is lob off 200lbs on the Nismo like design for a weight of around 3,100lbs.... re-engineer the trunk to be 10 cuft. and spruce up the interior. Nissan is figuring out how to make a bread & butter Z. The Z shouldn't be built for volume. It should be built for some fvckin respect in the car game.... I know they think the GTR does that. But when it's a non attainable price. You're pricing it in an area where ANYONE can make a sick car. You make your bones in the Sub $50K market. So Nissan.... Have some SELF RESPECT!!! B1TCHEZ!!! |
I dont hate my car one bit. the interior is fine. and i love the exterior just fine. i love how not every other person is driving it like the subayota and the tiburon.

I agree. While Nissan is concentrating in the Sentra Nismo and the StarWars edition Rogue, they are leaving our awesome Zs behind. Come on Nissan! Wake up!

That's Highly subjective. I like my interior but it feels highly outdated. The Nismo with the recaros is the most fitting interior for the Z and that also looks dated. I think if Nissan neglected anything the most. It's the interior. I personally feel the camaro interior is the superior interior. It's drawbacks are screen position and weird a/c operation. But... it looks like a proper interior. I think our interior can be the best interior still with some material and color updates and a new stereo center update. |
The interior of the Touring with Nav is OK for todays standards. The base with base radio feels very outdated.
But compare ours to the NEW 2017 Alpha Romeo 4C. Pic below. Ours still not bad at all. http://cdn.pinthiscars.com/images/al...interior-3.jpg |
I don't like the electronic dashes, for me it's analog all the way. I think the interior is just fine, I don't need or want all the pretty colors & warnings beeping at me. The last thing I would have is a knob for the gear shift.
|
i have a base with a nothing interior and i dont care lol. so yes its subjective. car drives well, hooks up to my iphone for music and calls. done. lol
whenever i finish a stressful day at work and i get to see my 370z's sexy butt i lose all my stress. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
no, they will not sale these above 40k
|
Theres is also the new s2000 in 2018
|
What kills our interior most gotta be the materials. If the gauges were contoured and soft touches were present and the third gauge was more Porsche like. Our interiors would be best in class. We don't need any dramatic changes.

I love my 16 Nismo tech interior. It's minimalistic yet has everything I need.
Nice analog gauges, decent stereo, nav, soft materials, comfy steering wheel, comfy and basic seats, three pedals and nice red backlighting. Anything else is just unnecessary. Hell, even the navi is unnecessary, but I feel it makes the dash look good :D The only gripe I have is that stupid clock on the dash and the lack of any OEM looking replacement gauge option. The clock is completely useless as the nav screen has one too, literally 3.5 inches away. I wish the clock was the standard option, with an upgrade option to an actual and useful gauge. |
