true but here's my take on it: we all sit here and speculate this and that but the big question is "will there be a new Z?" and even if the slightest bit of info or nod of another model coming soon will be enough for me for now. it'll give us the hope and excitement that a new Z is on the way.

then we can go back to bitching about 4 banger vs boosted V6 or style decisions and whatnot.

Mazda is bringing a sports car concept to Tokyo. Let's hope Nissan follows suit.

Nissan does, however, have several global debuts scheduled for LA in November. So methinks it would be a good month to at least see some sort of HINT at wtf they're going to do here.

yea if mazada is doing their sports car in octiober in Tokyo maybe its smarter to not do it at the same show. but isn't the Tokyo show where the 370 was debuted? I cant remember.

The 370Z debuted at the 2008 LA auto show

With Honda and Mazda debuting sports cars of their own, Nissan def needs to follow suit

well i was close lol but if LA is coming up and it's meant to be a 2017 model then it's about time to shed some light on it. would be pretty cool to debut the next model where the 370 was shown.

Tokyo show 29 October to 9 November
LA Show 20-29 November

Either way... GIVE US SOMETHING!!!!!!!!! :excited: :excited:

2017 is when Porsche is releasing the redesigned 911, Cayman & Boxster. So if Nissan releases a new Z then, I'll have more decisions to make.... (first world problems)..

Wonder if they gonna ride on with the 370, until the 50th Aniversary comes out in 2020?
they may take a couple years off-like they did before the 350 debuted,,,or try to throwback a concept car till then? who know's....Currently Lovin' my ~Z~

Every car manufactory is going either turbo or lighter these days. Bring back the TT V6!!!! with 420HP! (Hoping the decision making engineer from Nissan reads this) lol

This rendering probably makes the most sense of any I have seen to date. If you look at trends in these sorts of images and stuff from imagination to production, this would signify that we're getting very close to seeing something tangible.

The front bumper alone hides the "v-motion"-branded front, though they've tastefully subdued it. It's also got the "floating roof" touch to it a la Maxima and Murano. The rear quarter window is a sh!tshow. The wavy body lines from the Maxima/Rogue/Murano are there.

The openings in the front bumper would facilitate cooling to a pair of intercoolers, but that could be a bit of a pipe dream for most of us - but the glimmer of hope is there. The overall front seems to facilitate better airflow, which would serve to alleviate many design criticisms for hot oil and hot brakes.

I like the dark headlights (that were ripped from the 2016 Altima refresh moreso than the Maxima) and the Q50 Eau Rouge wheels are a nice touch to finish off the render.

Two big shows this fall. We'll see if anything comes of this.

That's why I bought a 2015. Didn't want the Bose noise additions, don't want batteries and a motor, don't want stock turbo on a tiny engine. If I wanted an economy car I'd own a Prius.

I can add boost to the 2015 and with a good exhaust it'll be incredible. Case closed.
