We're talking, what, like $15K, for an AAM or FI TT kit to put me at a modest 500HP? I'd rather pay for that than a Sentra Nismo.

Not to mention that disposal of the batteries is terrible for the environment. The environment that you're supposed to be saving by using a car that runs on electricity generated by coal, stored in batteries using heavy metals from strip mining. It's almost like people don't want to consider that their hippy golf cart is likely worse for the environment than a full size pickup once you factor in all the parts of the equation.

The song of my people.

I can't believe how few people are connecting the dots here. Apparently electricity is produced by ******* magic or something.

I always thought TAS was the main source where future production vehicles were showcased (along with other concepts, of course), but I guess there will always be those vehicles that just pop into production out of no where...
This thread made me intrigued/ excited, then doubtful, then angry, then disappointed, and now confused LOL talk about a mix of emotions.

LA Auto Show - Toyota has a vehicle debut slotted according to the LA Auto Show website. Infiniti will debut the new QX80 there as well. Nissan has no vehicle debuts yet scheduled, but will have the 2018 370Z heritage edition on full display.

LA was where the 370Z debuted, so if there's any hope for a next gen Z, it will be the first week of December this year.

Another perplexing bit of information is nothing about a MY2018 GT-R. At all. Anywhere. The new model year GT-Rs have been released the summer before their respective calendar years every single year except this one. What's the deal?

You're right Dirk, the Sentra Nismo IS one hot ride! However, I'm still holding out for the excellent, sporty and performance focused Nismo Versa! Yeah baby, NV!!!!

Sadly such a model wouldn't surprise me given how Nissan is generifying the Nismo name.

Nissan says... Z, is a dying market. The people want Nismo everything else.

Nissan Drops a Hint That the Z Car Might be Dead - The Drive

Fvck your FWD
FVCK YOUR CVT
Fvck your bitchy hand painted red stripe.
Fvck Nissan... Twice!!

My advice to Nissan ENTHUSIASTS...
Try that Kia Stinger, don't waste your money on a maxima andvsupport this faggotry.

Only buy a Z and abandon ANYTHING else Nissan makes.

Did a bear climb up your asss and die? Tell us how you really feel. :rofl2: You're not alone in your feelings. I've had 3 Nissans in my time. Think I'm through with them if they drop the Z. :shakes head: I'll hang on to my Nismo for a long time now.

Since Nissan has ditched us on the Z I'm becoming more and more interested in the Q60.
These things are monsters! Take a look at what Z1 just did with one of these by adding racepipes, cat back exhaust, and a tune!

Q60 would hold my interest if it had a manual. Instead it's just another heavy luxo boat.

I almost pulled that trigger, but the chassis just didn't cut it for the power. It's all fluff n a great engine. Transmission is Shyt. Features to dollars are Shyt n gimmicky. Beautiful car with NO SUBSTANCE when you push it. But it's an amazing first impression when you first feel those turbos spool. The number steering and Nissan only having their shytty black interior on lots vs those beautiful options. Plus the red sport is poorly packaged as you can barely set it apart from the base car.

This car needs a lot of work still
