The underpinnings gotta go. The FM is dead. That's why the Q60 sucks. The newer saloon chassis's are way too rock solid. If nissan keeps the FM. They need to go with a whole new linking setup and a high grade tensile steel to compete. But new chassis designs are way more rugged than the FM. We NEED a new chassis.

It says he gave this speech standing next to a Z. Can’t imagine they’d kill a car this guy deems so significant to the company.

I wonder about ghosen scandal. I wonder if there is more to the story than they report.
Nissan has no choice. They need the alliance in Hope's to save money and share platforms to keel the cost down

And make good ******* sport cars and keep them updated.

And of course they need to improve their other cars too of course

Nissan should drop that french outfit, and go with FCA. That way, they can get some of that Alfa Romero DNA for their sports cars.

A bit off topic. Had to go get tail lights for my sons 4Runner. Dealer had 2 Supra’s on the floor. I had read they look better in person but I was not impressed. Way too much going on in my opinion. I walked out of the show room and an 86 was right outside. The Supra looks like an 86 prepped for SEMA. I hope the new Z is more classic looking.

Totally in agreement with you there. The GT86 has always looked like a lame plasticky, tinseltown replica of the 370 and the new Supra is just a continuation of that mistake, on steroids. Whereas the new BMW is definitely an improvement on the Z4.

I've never said I know somebody that's connected. I already said I was guessing that the concept would be released at Tokyo and again I happily admit that I was wrong on that one. I don't have a care in the world whether you give me any credence or not - I'm just saying what I can and whetting your appetites a bit. However - I do know it's coming and I also know more about it than you do - or than I can say.

I find your posts amusing. One day I will say more.

I find your posts amusing too. Like, what's he going to come up next? :rofl2:

Nissan is in a money crunch position. The next Z would be taking money from other projects. They want to do it. But have to spend the money on something else. It's damn if they do. Damn if they don't.

So just 100% BS speculation.

If a new Z ever drops you and a few others will be all over the forums saying "I told you so" when none of you know anything at all. :gtfo2: with the BS
