Does anyone know if the recall includes 2011 370z's?

Early 2011's maybe, since they can also suffer from the Steering Lock Fail

Due to this wonderful forum and its members, I was able to contact my dealership today. I gave them the Campaign Announcement Number in addition to the Campaign Bulletin Number supplied by this forum. The dealership acknowledged and confirmed the information. They advised the new Steering Lock Unit is in stock and I have scheduled an appointment for Tuesday March 12, 2013 at 2pm.

Would like to thank everyone for their valuable input. Keeping fingers crossed the Unit is RevD which is the good one. I currently have RevB.

Will let all know after install.

That blows! At least it's less of a hassle now.

I'm not clear on this. Do we have to contact the dealer or is there a recall and we will be notified by mail?

Note my earlier post. Based on the information supplied here, I took it upon myself to contact the dealership rather than wait for a notice from Nissan. I read that most of the dealerships have already received the notice directly from Nissan, so why wait for them. My dealership verified the recall, set aside the new part, and made an appointment. Just saying...........

We're gonna camp in front of Nissans North America Headquarters waiting for our checks for those of us whose SLU's have already failed.

Rev D is faulty also. So far they have all been known to fail. That's why I'm still glad I cut my wire.

True, but it's still prone. Either way, most reliable is do disengage the lock and be done with it.
