Just got my notification from my dealership. It was just a postcard telling me to come in for recall # P3208...no letter, nothing explaining what it was. Called them today and they said the part was in stock. Anyone know if Nissan would cover any rental cost seeing as how I'd have to leave the car there on a weekday?

Many dealerships have free loaner cars now for warranty work, I would call of the dealership and ask before going in.
If not, many times insurance will cover the cost for a few days. Mine will pay out 30 days a year for rental car if my car goes into the shop as part of my insurance with no extra cost to me.

I've got an 8 am appt this coming Friday. Have no idea which part they're installing but I'm sure all the dealerships are on the same page (knock on wood) and that it will be the "D" part.

I'll let you all know how it goes.

Can you tell us where you saw this information on RevD. I searched and could not locate anything.

I found many threads regarding RevA and RevB (which was the version I had as well), but nothing on RevD.

I too got the RevD recently due to the recall. FWIW, I was told at my dealership, they admitted they replaced many RevA and RevB, but have yet to replace any with RevD.

Fault occurred to my 2009 370z yesterday, currently at Nissan dealer - I have logged a case with Nissan UK to see if they will honour the recall Nissan USA are currently doing- will keep you posted

At the moment they are saying they will cover the cost of the part, impressed with their fast response to the issue, the car is still at the dealers waiting to be diagnosed however I'm 99.9% sure it is this issue as what's was happening is as exactly as everyone else has described.

Just dropped mine off to be fixed in the morning. Now I won't be scared whenever I am more than 5 miles away from my house.

The part is in stock.. I'll be replacing tomorrow (then pulling fuse again lol). I'm mainly doing this for resale in case I need to revert to "stock" someday. Also as punishment to Nissan for using such a crappy part and taking so darned long on a recall.

I have a Rev D and my car is not part of the recall. But I know of several forum members who had their ESCL fail once, got it replaced with Rev D and then had it fail yet again I'm not risking it; my fuse was pulled months ago...

These post speak to what I was thinking.
It is a hassle. Then I pull the fuse again. How am I ahead?
Bragging rights, it is free and might be worth more (do not really care about either).
Make Nissan pay.

I am still deciding what to do. Currently all is well with pulled fuse.
