Replace engine oil and filter ( do you need an oil change ? )
Replace engine air filter ( if you dont need it and its clean why change?)
Replace in-cabin microfilter 2 ( also might not be bad )
 Rotate tires (except all 370Z) ( n/a )

 Inspect the following:
__ Automatic transmission fluid 3,5
__ eCVT fluid (HEV) 3,4
__ Axle & suspension parts
__ Brake lines & cables
__ Brake pads, rotors, drums &
linings
__ Cruise control vacuum hoses
__ CVT fluid (cube, Murano, Altima,
Altima Coupe, Maxima,
Rogue, Sentra and Versa)
__ Differential oil 1,3
__ Drive shaft boots
__ Exhaust system
__ Front suspension ball joints
__ Fuel lines/connections
__ Fuel tank vapor vent system hoses
__ Manual transmission oil 3
__ Propeller shaft (4WD/AWD/RWD)
__ Steering gear and linkage
__ Steering linkage ball joints
__ Transfer case oil (4WD/AWD)

Save your $400 there mostly checking things i just the brought mine in for an inspection and they did a multi point inspection which they look at all that stuff anyway at least my closest dealer does

Depending how you track your maint if its time then you should change your oil, oil filter, air filters, pump up to proper tire psi, fuel injector cleaner. You dont need to come out of pocket that $325.00. Just pay for your oil change if you dont have no where to recycle it or the tools. Its a rip off for inspection.

I just went to Rob at Z car garage to ask him about this service. He said it consists of at most changing fluids (tranny, diff, brake, coolant) as needed. Changing air filter and doing oil change.

I change my own oil and have cleanable filters on my JWT pop chargers (so I clean them myself). That leaves coolant and diff and tyranny fluid change.

Zcargarage is Waaay better than dealer uses better fluids and will cost about 200 buck max for the service.

IN other words. IMHO, Do the easy stuff yourself and have a good garage do the rest unless you are using dealer for warranty purposes.

Dealerships are NOT magic. The mechanics are no better and they do lots of expensive and unnecessary stuff to your car.

Better to form a relationship with a reputable mechanic and do just what is needed to your car. (Just the stuff in the 30k service which you haven't already done yourself)

It depends on what the $450 entails. Oil change with Nissan Ester is about $90 alone. For the most part, the dealer overcharges for a lot of this stuff. A lot of it is common sense multi-point inspections you can do on your own. The biggest items are the fluid flushes and alignment. My suggestion is to inspect the fluids and see if they are okay. They should be fine at 30k miles. For the most part it's an "inspection" and "recommendation" to change...not a requirement. Most of the fluids hold up pretty well under normal driving.

+1 for pissed at dealer. They sell unnecessary services at twice the required cost.

My 30k service i assume was done at 29.4k miles when i got my oil change. Cost around $70 or so. You should ask what the $450 entails

Default 30K service

I did my owned 30K service. Having access to a lift, I change all fluids (oil, transmission, diff, brake, clutch) grease locks, replaced air filters, inspected all hoses/belts, brake rotors, shocks, bushings, exhaust, battery, lights, cleaned under to car & engine bay, inspected brake pads, turn signals, lights, wipers, suspension items, and pulled/inspected the tires.

I spent approx. $100 for preminum fluids plus tire balancing done at a tire shop I have used over the years. I road test afterwards checking for any leaks.

My Z is good to go for the next service that involved buying a new battery.

P.S. I save the receipts for the materials purchased to verify to Nissan of the service performed along with actually filling out the items serviced in the service manual. I do this to verify that the service was completed for warranty purposes. The service shop at the local dealership is fully aware of my services to my Z over the years.

Thats a good list, mine just hit 31K, I have to inspect a couple things as for fluids I don't have to change them on 7AT.

Dude,
That's a lot of money you're giving away. As someone said, they will "check" a lotta stuff and only change them if they look horribly bad. You can't do that just by driving 30K miles.
This is exactly what I did when my Z turned 30,000.

1. Went to dealer to get transmission fluid changed.
2. Also had the differential fluid drain and fill.
(if you get both done together, I think you get a .5 hour break in labor as oppose to doing them separately). Then I told my service guy to check my belts and other fluids. They will do that that do you without charge as long as you're getting something done. It's courtesy.
3. Bought a pair of fresh air filters from the dealer. Put them on myself later that day.
all the belts and stuff came out fine. Why spend $400 when you don't have to? Use some of that money (about $70) and buy a motive bleeder. Then bleed your old brake fluid with synthetic. Enjoy driving
