Gieco has my claim on record, but I haven't activated it yet. Geico said I would have to pay the deductable. Gonna check out PDR first and see if I can just pay for it out-of-pocket.
this. fu*cking. sucks! I was saving up to upgrade my brakes. *The $750 deductable was the only way to lower my insurance payment to within reason. I'm over 25, not married, have a clean record and no claims in the past 10 years, but the insurance was still over $2,100 a year with Allstate. It dropped to $1,400 a year when I switched to Geico and paying a $750 deductable. All the other insurance companies had similar rates as Allstate...if not higher.
