Tire Sensor Light

I got new rims and tires put on with TPMS too, but I drove it for like 70 miles and my tire pressure light flashed and now is fully on.

Default Tire Sensor Light

I got new rims and tires put on with TPMS too, but I drove it for like 70 miles and my tire pressure light flashed and now is fully on. Is this a resetting the sensor issue? If so, is there a way I can reset it without going to a shop and paying $$ any feedback would be helpful thanks

if that was the case it should have turned on after maybe 10 miles, maybe just double check the pressure.

I thought the TPM's If replaced would need to be programmed to the controller to receive a signal. you may need to reprogram the system. Not sure how though

Yep, you need to take it in to the Nissan Dealership and have them activate the new ones. I believe most dealerships charge around $85 to do all four.

No, nothing to do with warranty. Since you replaced the wheels and tires and added new TPMS to them, it's on you to pay for the activation. If one had gone bad, then yes, under warranty they would replace and activate the new one.

Well I had my rims and tires stolen, so I got em all replaced with stock parts including the TPMS, I guess they didn't reset for the new ones...

Did you get them through the dealer? If so, they should have activated them. If not, you would need to go have them do it. However, if you had insurance cover this, then they should refund you for the amount of activating.

Ask around for tire shops and their quotes. My local Goodyear shop is freakin' great and offered to do it for free, except they did need a full reset and I ended up paying only 25 dollars. Some places will do it for free even if you should really be paying for it.
