Default Side Rear View Mirror will not tilt Up/Down

I have a 2010 Nissan 370z and the Side Rear View Mirror will not tilt Up/Down from the driver control knob. I can have full control of the Left rear mirror to tilt Left/Right and Up/Down; but for right rear view mirror (Passenger side) it will only tilt Left/Right but not Up/Down.

Any idea what's broken?

What could have caused it? I usually wash my car and flush water through the gap between the side view mirrors housing and mirror, could this have caused it?

weird, I would suggest just taking it to nissan and having them take care of it as long as you're within the 36k mile warranty. they'll probably just replace the entire assembly for you.

The up/down servo is probably fried/shorted or just malfunctioning. Warranty is 36 month/36,000 miles so get it done before its over. The side view mirror must be replaced as an assembly, which means $$$
