So I own a NISMO, and have been using conventional for the last 5 oil changes religiously at 3k miles. I just had a service guy tell me that NISMOs

So I own a NISMO, and have been using conventional for the last 5 oil changes religiously at 3k miles. I just had a service guy tell me that NISMOs REQUIRE their synthetic blend and it could void my warranty without it. I've never heard this before and think it's a load of BS. Anyone ever hear anything like this?
