Factory warranty

Correct me if I'm wrong, but although my car is an 09, from the auto check info, looks like the car was purchased 1 of 2010. This means my factory warranty is good thru 1 of 2013, yes? Or 36,000 miles.

not 100% sure how it works, but I just bought an 09 on saturday and my factory waranty (3yr 36,000) started that day.

yah, check with your dealer but it's usually based on the date and milage the car was put into service.

Warranties are based on the original purchase date.
I bought a new '94 Celica in '96 and the warranty started on the day that I bought it.

Yes it is from the date you purchased it.
