Disconnect the battery and you will be fine. The reason to have less fuel in the tank when doing this job is mainly to stop you from getting fuel everywhere

Disconnect the battery and you will be fine. The reason to have less fuel in the tank when doing this job is mainly to stop you from getting fuel everywhere and messing up the interior.
I had a sacrificial towel laid down, if you have a small 1gal bucket that helps too since you can lift the assembly straight up and drop it in the bucket
