2014 Nismo with possible Synchro Ref issues in 5th gear

this sounds more like you might be missing ever so slightly on the upshift and hit the mark the trigger point on the 3rd gear on the way to 5th

Make sure you are not hitting the gate for 3rd gear as you are making your 4th to 5th shift. This would trigger a pretty rowdy rev upwards of 5K depending on your speed at the time.

Dont stop on neutral when shifting to fifth shift it smoothly sliding to the right towards 5th. If you stop to neutral the SRM thinks your downshifting to 3rd.
