Be sure you position the switch in auto mode and hold it there. If you only move the switch to manual mode reset function will not work.

Did you:

Run the window all the way down. Pause (mostly for effect). Then manually raise the window all the way and hold the switch in the raise position for ten seconds or so before releasing. (Do not use the one-click auto raise function for this - hold the button manually, all the way.)

?

You may be able to use the one click method to lower the window, but for the reset you have to actually hold the button all the way, plus for a few seconds after it's all the way up. If you don't continue to hold it long enough after it goes all the way up the reset won't work. I give mine a ten count when I do it, just to be sure.

Default Window reset

I had booked an appointment with the dealer to look at my window which wouldn't close all the way and the auto up function stopped working. Thought I would check the forum before I went. Thanks guys. Problem fixed and appointment cancelled. A very simple reset.
