Dealer also said that Nissan does not contract out warranty work e.g stitching. Who knows? Anyway, it's at least a full days job to replace. Mine was in the dealership for two days and then one more day after that because they re-installed a few pieces upside down on the frame bows. I imagine it's a complicated install especially when tops are replaced every blue moon or so at my dealership.
Same here...2 days work. I now have another issue that needs to be fixed on Tuesday. What happenned was the trim piece that cover over the passenger and driver's shoulder near the seat beat that rotate up got crunched by the roof mechanism when I put the top back up. It apparently did not open enough and caught the fabric. Major damage to the surrounding trim pieces...PTA. otherwise love the ride.

BTW-take it to another dealer if they give you hassel. I already replace my top once and will not hesitate demanding another if it goes south again.
