Hmm only 3 verts with mods here? There has to be more out there.:ugh2: I test mounted my wing yesterday and just need my wing painted to perm. mount. Yes pics will follow. Wasn't hard to do. Spoiler Solutions makes a nice wing and their little t tabs make it very easy to get the holes in the right place the first time. They are in the bag with the screws and 2 sided tape. I thought they would be bigger and that mine didn't have them, but there they where. Took less than 1 hour to drill, mount and remove. I figure just about 30 more minutes to remount with tape and sealer. :ughdance:

Crazycan 04-02-2011 09:02 AM

Just got my roadster, but have illuminated door sills, mini antenna, back-up camera, Z license plate holders and Z stem caps on the way :)

jtgarza3, those powercoated rims look awesome!

JTTZR 04-13-2011 01:43 AM

Nice stuff!

I've got a 2010 Black ZR with the steering wheel on the wrong side (do I need to prove that with a pic too???) ;-)

Mods so far:

- Exoticspeed RII PWR Titan Exhaust with burnt tips
- K&N Drop-ins
- Shorty antenna

Taking the roof down has become even better - that exhaust is to die for.

Pics are horrible quality - apologies

How is the Gen 3 in the Roadster? Considering it but worried it may be too loud? I'm not a huge fan of intake roar - much prefer to hear my exhaust. What's your experience with it?

nikto_verrata 04-20-2011 02:07 AM

@fire: I really like the black rear diffusor. This will probably be my first mod - when I get my Z 'vert in july.

And this too: EVO-R INC. Nissan 370Z Z34 Carbon Fiber Center Bumper Fang Cover

Fire 04-20-2011 09:16 AM

Look forward to pics. I'm sure you will enjoy modding your vert.:tiphat:

Under normal driving conditions, you won't even notice a difference in sound. When you put your foot in it there is a moderate amount of difference but it is mostly overridden by the exhaust. The difference it makes in the drivability of the car at low rpms is worth it. Worth every penny!

JTTZR 04-20-2011 06:56 PM

CHeers BeachZTT, I think I will add it to my list then. Thanks for your help.

Thanks. My z is BC so the darker headlights improve the look of the car.

Dsphoto, the gains from the CAI are pretty impressive. At close to 300whp is the tune getting imperative? Just curious as I have done the exhaust upgrade but am still hesitant do change the intake. Last thing I want to do is reach the point were the car actually requires a tune (too lean, etc.).

The car runs great. Mixture is spot on (I have log works to monitor this). Te tune will just make it sing with 93 octane fuel which I regularly use. I am really happy with the performance. Also, it's putting out 305 hp at the wheels.

I'm very confused now. I have followed most of the FI threads and now I'm kind of scared to go with either Stillen or GTM. What do you guys think is better, go with a FI and spend the time and money for tuning( I don't live within 250 miles of a shop that can do it.) or just get a CAI, headers, 49 state legal cats and CBE? Maybe a nitrous system from Zex? :ugh2:

Ultimately I will go with a stillen sc. In the meantime I chose cai and exhaust which made the car much more drivable! Also I love the sound of the exhaust. I won't do the sc until the warranty is over. I hope they have worked out all the bugs by then. My brother has a stillen sc on his mustang and loves it.

Great mods everyone!!!

Hey who wants a sponsorship?

BeachZTT 04-28-2011 12:57 PM

^^^ Me!!!! Been looking.

Fire 04-28-2011 05:35 PM

What are you offering? I'm all ears. :ughdance: I like your thinking DS that sounds like the way to go. I could wait awhile and have the car payed off then they should have the bugs worked out or just have a shop do a custom tune.
