How to clean/wash a soft-top?

This may sound silly, but It's my first soft top and I don't know how to clean/wash it... High pressure water doesn't seem a good idea...

Not silly at all! I use a product called "Raggtopp" -they make a cleaner and a protectant. I rec both of them. I would not use high pressure or go thru a car wash with this car.
Also, when you are attempting to dry the top -just use sunlight if you can. The fabric catches lint off towels pretty well and you will need to use a lint remover to get the fibers off. Let me know if you have anymore questions. There are not any stupid questions....

^^^Second on the "RaggTopp" products and instructions.

RaggTopp Fabric Protectant: Protect fabric convertible car tops with the top fabric protectant! ragg topp fabric top care, ragtop convertible top

I typically use a silicone squeegee to gently remove the standing water and a 100% white cotton towel to dab off the remaining moisture... and then air dry. I haven't had any issues with lint as long as you don't wipe the top. The water should always bead well enough that the cotton towel will absorb it. If not, it is time to apply another application of RaggTopp protectant.

@SandraDee- did you get you car back? How is you saga progressing?

i JUST got the car back-i think it was an 8 week ordeal. most recently, i had them paint the rear bumper ...they tried to give the car back with a ding in the bumper. inside of the car was clean-we will see if i have trouble with gauges or cd player later with the dumpage of the bondo dust from the body shop into the car ...cripes. they had it parked outside the shop with the top down and fans blew dust IN.
anyway-i am calling a Nissan exec to fill him in. we will see if they offer anything for my troubles-if not-i am going to ask . this has been something else...
