The shorty works great. No reception issues.

Yes I had the same problem yesterday however, here's what you do: There is two spacers and another 2 in long black spacer, inside is a gold one with a phillips screw...use this one :-)

Just installed the 3" antenna. No change in reception and the car looks much better.

I ordered the 3" shorty from Amazon. USPS managed to lose the damn package. It was on the truck to be delivered May 11, but never showed up. Repeated calls to the USPS has not helped. How do you lose a package that was on the little carrier truck. The antenna has driven by my house, and now more than a week later, I am still waiting. I love how I get charged $7 for shipping and it never arrives. No wonder the USPS is going broke.

Somehow, I made my first post a rant. Sorry.

Has anyone tried the Murano Cabriolet antenna? I haven't got the part # for the 2012 model but 2010 and older have the same #'s for Juke, Rogue, sentra etc. There's different part #'s for XM and those have the cork screw look. There 7" long which may be the same as the S2k (fit, hybrid, etc) version. I have the 1.4" one and it works on open freeway but in town with buildings, trees, mountains, etc it's not strong enough.

I have this guy on both my week-old roadster and my 2004 Mazda3 hatchback... I like it a lot on both cars.

Reception is... well... kind of crappy, but I never listen to radio so...

I don't want to loose reception. I was going to try to find a longer stud for the 1.4" one since it looks sweet but it's different size on each end. Looking at the pics of the Morano antenna, it may not work as the stud is tucked inside. At least for the part # that I have. Maybe the Juke and Sentra versions are different.

I've never noticed a loss of reception but tend to listen to the satellite.

I noticed some G37 shorty's on bgay. It looks like since they paid a premium for the infinity badge, Nissan did an antenna recall and you could have swapped yours in for the shorty on the 09+ G37 roadsters which their latest models have. They are slightly taller then the Honda version with a skinny base. They look like a perfect match. I'm not sure if 370ZR owners got the shaft or of the stud shaft is different.

Am I the only one that actually just removed the OEM telephone pole antenna and am driving around with nothing on the antenna mount? I like the more streamline look with nothing there at all. Still picks up my local radio station when I'm driving around town and I mostly have my phone plugged into the AUX port and listen to my music on there.

I thought of that, but I'm not sure I like the idea of the thread-in hole open to the elements. Would be nice to have a flat plastic cap to fit in there...

For the price of the shorty you should just get one. The reception has to be better than no antenna plus it gives a finished look vs the screw hole.
