I had the same problem. I could not open the door from the outside. Had to climb in the passenger to open it from the inside. They said the cable

I had the same problem. I could not open the door from the outside. Had to climb in the passenger to open it from the inside. They said the cable was too short. So the ordered me a whole new handle and lock mechanism. Got it fixed within a week..
