Sticky door fixed

Dealer resolved my difficult to open left door by replacing the lock mechanism. Had to wait a week for the part since it had to come from Japan, but so far so good.

what kind of issues where you having with your door?

I had the same problem. I could not open the door from the outside. Had to climb in the passenger to open it from the inside. They said the cable was too short. So the ordered me a whole new handle and lock mechanism. Got it fixed within a week..

the driver's door would not open unless you seriously yanked on the handle or pressed in on the door before opening the door. Sometimes the door would not open (had to unlock the door from the inside by climbing over the console from passenger side.

is it easy to open now? my doors are kind of hard to open especially when you compare it to a coupe...the doors on the coupes open very easily like any other normal car would...the roadster, not so much

Opens fine now, but not as easy as a coupe. I can open the door with one finger (before the repair, it took a significant tug to get the door to open). Passenger door has not had an issue.

You can spary the door seals with wd40 to help with the door opening, but this only helps for a day or two. I do not need to spary the seals now that the door latch mechanisn was replaced.
