Convertible top seam failure

It's the original factory warranty. I have a few months left on it. The original owner bought it new but in the next model year, and only put 7000K on

I can't believe they're going to replace the whole top for that one little seam coming undone! It looks like it could be stitched up pretty easily. I'd keep a close eye on their top install, hopefully they don't create a new problem! It's a complicated mechanism. Good luck.

Yeah, my fear as well. I pick it up today. They subcontract to a convertible top specialist who comes onsite to do the work. Fingers crossed...
