Default Rear Mount Bike Rack

Not sure if any fellow roadster owners are a bit perturbed but not have an easy bike carrying solution. I bought a Saris Gran Fondo and it seems to work nice. I needed longer front straps to secure to the seat rails but aside from that it worked great.

NOTE: you can not activate the roof or access the trunk while the rack in stalled.
I routed the front strap below the clear wind guard.
I cut up two long socks and placed them on the front straps at contact points to protect car's finish. I also use old socks on the rack's feet.

Looks interesting, I thought about carrying my bike to rides on mine but never came up with anything that I thought would work good. I now have a spoiler on mine & that looks like that wouldn't work now. So I just use my wife's Rogue when I go to rides.
Bet you hope it doesn't start raining while you have a bike on there.
