The market in Texas isn't going to have much to do with the market in New Orleans. If they can sell it for $34,500, that's what they'll ask for it. If they can't sell it at that then maybe you can get it from them cheaper if you're will to wait. Why don't you just go buy the car in Texas?
Reasonable price? Around here, $34,500 would be very reasonable. Apparently in Texas $31,000 is reasonable. Sure. Some dealers will go get a car for you. Mine drove over 1000 miles round trip to pick up mine. Then he actually delivered it to my door on the truck (it was winter in Minnesota, and he's 90 miles away). Of course, he charged me $37,000+ (Touring/Sport). The two caveats that apply here are:
