IMO: Never buy a new Z. Only exception is if you have to have the new body or something.

I don't get this logic, that would be the exact opposite situation where I would NOT buy the first year of a new body. Used base models were going for $27-28k around here with >10k miles. My brand new one was under 30k...

I asked on the forum and also checked it out. In my case, the 2014 base model was around $29k and the sports package was around $33k. I got my used 3013 sports package with 8k miles for $28k. The forum members were right in that even though my base 2010 Z ran great, the sports package is a much better deal. I opted for a 2013 slightly used over a 2014 base.
