Which one would you buy? HELP!!

Hey guys I was about to pull the plug on this: I got them down to 40748.

http://www.mcdavidnissan.com/new/Nis...9d9b7cbc28.htm

However, I found this one on ebay just as close to me....

Nissan 370Z We Finance | eBay

This is quite a drop in value in less than a year!
It also has NAV....and the Bose package...

Would I be crazy not to save 7k and get NAV also by buying the used one?
Yea it has 12k miles but the 370z is so reliable who cares right? I mean, why not save 7k and also pick up NAV?

What would you do? Pros and Cons in your opinion - needed...HELP!!

Is this normal? Such a price drop in less than year?

AFTERMARKET Nav.

And welcome to the 370Z, where cars don't hold value for shit

IMO: Never buy a new Z. Only exception is if you have to have the new body or something.

So the 370z Nismo does not come with a NAV option package?

Not until the 2015

Okay so the positives of buyin new as I see it are:
1. I run the risk of aftermarket NAV being poorly installed, and maybe having problems in the electrical system,
2. With over 12k miles I run the risk that some toad did not do the appropriate break in period, and pounded the hell out of it for 10 months....
3. He may have even ran it into a pole and had it fixed under the radar so car fax never even picked it up...does it seems strange that they are selling it around 2k below KBB value for a used one?

While for 7k more, I have absolutely no unkowns, as a maintenance and mechanical freak, I baby the car from day 1....with no worries. Worth 7k....???

Looks like you made up your mind.

buy the new nismo...I have nav in my santé fe and really don't use it too much...plus all smartphones have a nav app if you need nav in a pinch...also, you'll have all of your warranty...I've never been a fan of buying a used car...but that's just me...due to being burned bad when I was 19

I differ. I bought a used 2010 370Z with 23k miles. The car fax looked clean, the one the ******* dealer showed me. I drove it for 20k miles and it drove like a dream. Then, prior to trading it, I took it to car max and they offered me just $16k. The Car fax they pulled for my car showed that before I purchased it, it had been stolen, later also in a minor accident. They also said the bonnet and the hatch were replacements, probably from hail damage!!

The car drove great. I just traded it for a 2013 sports package with 8k miles. They gave me $20k for mine, plus I paid $8k so, they sold me the car for $28k. Runes like a dream and loos flawless!!!

The best I could do for a 2014 sports package was $33.6k. A savings of 6-7k.

I don't get this logic, that would be the exact opposite situation where I would NOT buy the first year of a new body. Used base models were going for $27-28k around here with >10k miles. My brand new one was under 30k...

I asked on the forum and also checked it out. In my case, the 2014 base model was around $29k and the sports package was around $33k. I got my used 3013 sports package with 8k miles for $28k. The forum members were right in that even though my base 2010 Z ran great, the sports package is a much better deal. I opted for a 2013 slightly used over a 2014 base.

Did u end up buying the used one since it is not for sale anymore?

ZeeBabar 08-27-2014 12:26 PM

If you are asking me, I opted for the used 2013 with sports package and 8k on it. I considered a 2112 touring model in Cherry color with under 5k miles but it had an automatic shift.
