Look up on kelly blue book or edmunds for the price of the car and don't pay anymore that $500-$1000 above the trade in price. All odds are the dealer got the car at wholesale which is about $2500 below trade in price.
What ever you do , never pay full retail , only idiots pay full retail price on a used car. trade in is $18,700 , private party $20k and retail $22,300 . A good offer would be $19k for the car. Dealer wholesale cost is around $16,700 $24,500 only an idiot would pay that amount.
