2011 models have steering lock problem?

i believe this was fixed on the 2010's if i remember right, leaving only the 2009 to be affected by the steering wheel lock issue..

Some late 2011's actually don't even have the steering lock. Mine for example doesn't have one. (thank god)

confirmed on my 2011 too, no steering lock at all, build date 06/11....am able to turn the steering wheel with some effort with the car off and not have it lock

I'm in the market for a new Z now and I think I drove that same exact one you are talking about. As of today it had 66 miles on though...Was this the Nissan by the 210? I was there for 3 hours trying to negotiate something out, but in the end I didn't even want silver. I got the same price you did as well.
