Go to the home screen and find the vendor section towards the bottom. The first 5 or so listed in the vendor section are forum vendor dealerships. Click on one of them and then click on the screen name of the person that started the threads. Send a private message to them.

You have until 4/30 to get the 0% interest on a Z. I would use every resource possible to get what I want. If you keep calling the actual dealership that has the car you want & then you go to your local dealership & they call, then the dealership that actually has the car you want might start to put two & two together. That particular dealership can hold onto the car & make things a living hell for you & could possibly think that several people want it & they could say hell we are going to charge XXXX over sticker. If you credit score is above 700 you are a really good, but if it is above 750 (closer to 800 or above) you can pretty much write your own ticket.

Good call!

Sara i am planning on going to Nissan in South Carolina here do you want me to check for you on a Mag Black, Persimmon leather, A7, touring? Anything else i should ask for?

The local Nissan dealer here doesn't even have a Z on the lot or in the showroom, so they aren't much help. :icon17:

Hawk6 04-13-2012 09:50 PM

Thats great Hun now you have to do pics when she arrives! Congrats Sara your gonna love her!

SaraJewell 04-13-2012 09:51 PM

money wise - perfect, and of course the 0% financing like you all said!

funny thing...he tried to call that dealer i suggested however they wouldnt return his calls. probably bc they knew they had someone by the balls already over it...me. lol

but he found one somewhere else. so for everyone using that calculator that may or may not find VINs, i think it might be a tad off unless i just found the only 2 in existence in the past 24 hours. lol you guys are awesome though i cant wait to show you pics

Lemers 04-13-2012 09:56 PM

MacLean 04-13-2012 11:26 PM

Nice.......very nice. Congrats on finally getting the car you want.

LakeShow 04-13-2012 11:30 PM

Nice! How far away did they find it? Also are they going to drive to the dealer(aka rip it up on the way to your dealer) or flatbed it? Trust me they rip the cars up when transporting them. I've seen it first hand, and hear of it all the time.

MyZ4U2C 04-13-2012 11:46 PM

they are flat bedding it. which that part i do not know the cost of, the manager (who is the one i talked to yesterday) said the dealer is trying to get the transportation ready this weekend and will let me know on monday. i keep hearing a pretty standard 500 bucks from alotta people, but im not getting my hopes up bc im sure it goes up as the miles go up. hopefully it doesnt hurt my pocket too bad. but at this point its a small price to pay looking at the bigger picture. it is coming from massachusetts to ohio

Fly to Mass. for about $300, drive it home, and it will be properly broken in when you arrive at your front door.

I'm not sure Fusz would agree with that...when I used to sell motorcycles, I could go onto the BMW, Ducati, MV-Agusta and Aprilia sites and see all inventory in the country. :ugh2:

BeksNice 04-14-2012 10:29 AM

congrats! that's the one i will be getting!
where did the dealer find it?

That calculator only shows what was built up until 11/2011 so its not accurate for model year 2012. He will be updating it im sure.

What was your final price btw and congrats!

I would recommend having it transported. By driving it back you run the risk of getting dings. If you have no intentions of getting the clear bra installed, then I would say drive it back.

Even on a flatbed, it still runs the risk of getting dings. It isn't going to be an enclosed trailer.

Interesting. That's what I've been told before. Prolly wrong. I trust Fusz' word.

Yeah very true, but less of a risk than driving across country almost.

Well just read this great thread with soda and popcorn. I tend not to read 10 pages plus on the first reading.....but the OP and the community helping with advise had me on the edge of the seat. I can 't believe I read the whole thing.

Congrats on the car you really wanted from the start, funny how the carrot can be tempting when waived a certain way.

My two cents.......take ya back to March 2009. Purchased 2 370Z's in one day because I could not decide on one color - red or pg.....j/k. The bro and myself bought ours the same day. Ok the red sport touring was not be found in our region. Could wait for a container docking from across the pond at port of Los Angeles or wait for one that was located in Chicago. Which was out of our region. Took the Chicago car but was snagged first from Portland Oregon dealer. Paid the extra 1k because dealer would not take a trade.....all ok because Calif sales tax was going up in April and would pay the same if we took the car from L.A. because it would not get here in time. So had transported by truck for 1k which was a wash. Got what we wanted.

Sometimes you have to pay to get what you really want. Congrats Sara!!

Volk Z 04-15-2012 01:13 PM

Congrats Sara, glad you got what you wanted! Make sure to break her in properly :)

hey everyone~ sorry ive been away over the weekend and didnt reply. that is so awesome you read the whole thread! lol thanks for letting me know how much transport could potentially cost...thats gonna suck but it is worth it i spose:) some of you were asking about the price and its a little complicated but ill let you know. basically last month when i met the dealer for the first time he took 500 off then ANOTHER 500 because he was matching a competing dealer also trying to sell me the car. well when he called friday telling me the news and the price he took the first 500 off but i didnt realize until long after we hung up that he mentioned nothing about the other 500 we agreed upon (i guess it slipped my mind since i was so excited). so today they are supposed to call me with the price of transport and i will bring up the 500. he seems very honest and sticks to his word so i assume he will remember and agree to the additional 500. if for whatever reason he wont, the car will be right over 40K. if he takes if off, it will be just under 40K. like i said ill let yall know!

im so nervous about the transportation....i hope it comes in absolutely perfect condition...i dont wanna have to make the choice to walk away if something is wrong that they wont fix. but i will cross that bridge when i get to it, for now, only positive thoughts...

BeksNice 04-16-2012 03:24 PM

40k with tax?

Nice..... If for whatever reason there is some dings like on the front bumper, then they will fix it for you. If the dealer knows what is best it will happen. FYI......if you see a front license plate bracket on the front bumper please take it off to inspect to make sure that it did not cause any dings. I believe it is 40k before tax.

LakeShow 04-16-2012 04:19 PM

Damn 945$. I would've drove that myself. Couple full tanks and still have left over for a CAI.

roplusbee 04-16-2012 04:28 PM

Wow.........almost 1k for transport? I would have taken the drive myself. In fact, that is what I did, lol!
