If you're somewhere around what Trucar lists as dealer cost (before TTL) you're doing pretty good. That's assuming that either you don't have a trade (or are getting a fair price on your trade), are paying a reasonable interest rate (if financed), and aren't getting hit with outrageous dealer fees and add-ons. |
You'll be surprised what dealers would be willing to cut on prices if you are serious. Plus I said thats a good price to Aim for, always better to work lower so you may end up a little closer to the true car value. If you start at that price which in this case is 38K, with dealer taxes and fees you are going to be seeing almost 40k+ OTD.
