So-so deal. Not great. Not a total rip off.

Keep shopping...

I paid $39,900 for mine (sport, touring, nav, carpets, mudflaps)- but with an auto (adds $1000). You want to be right around invoice-that price is sticker.

Honestly, if I was going to buy a car again, I'd think about going through TruCar. I ran mine through there after I had already bought mine and the 3 dealers that responded were all right there on their initial offers-one was a few hundred under invoice They can be a little aggressive, but if you're ready to buy and just want a good deal it might be the way to go.

That's all good, but keep in mind if a trade-in is involved, it muddies the overall deal.

use truecar.com also. You will get the car very close to invoice or invoice, I used that with american express zagg which I believe are the same company now.
You can print that price out and go to other dealers to start negotiating also. There is still a little more to haggle to bring the price a little lower.

by the way guys, if you buy the car not from the dealership, do you still have to pay tax at dmv? i mean, can't you ask the seller to write as if he gave the car for free and you just give him money?

LMAO at the banner on the site.

Beksnice, yes you will have to pay sales tax. The DMV, knows the value of the cars...so the old sell it for $1 doesn't work anymore.

FuszNissan, what if you buy car from the dealership? You have to pay tax @ the dealership and then at dmv again? =/

No, every state is different.

Missouri - you pay sales tax at the DMV.
Illinois - you pay sales tax at the Dealership

You don't pay twice. ( just once, but where depends on your state)

In California you pay tax at the dealer, and they file it with the DMV. Most states operate this way.

That Z in the link is a fully loaded car, thus the price. But that price is MSRP. If that's the car you want, go to the dealer and offer them invoice + $200. Invoice on that car is 39,500. Start from there.
