it comes with a dvd of how to use the nav. i haev played that dvd in the car

It says DVD playback capability on the website, but probably only works when the e-brake is engaged. Otherwise, you could use the RCA connections to plug your smart phone or something into to to play movies.

You may need to purchase a by-pass device from KP...to get it to play while driving.

That disk is what I put into NAV, only to have it read disk error. What do I need to know?
