Here's a great story about how to get invoice price.
How I have scored invoice pricing with 3.99% APR on my 370Z? The reason your price is so hard to achieve is because you want them to quote OTD price, which is invoice + all other fees. The other fees are basically set fees, so you should be more concerned about negotiating the price of the car, not the ancillary things. Find out what the exact invoice price is for the configuration that you are interesting in. Remember that this must include destination fees. Once you have that price you can request quotes from all the nearby dealers. Don't worry about the other fees because most of those are set. Just be wary of any documentation fees over $100. There really shouldn't be any documentation fee, but don't turn down a great price because of a $50 doc fee. You should also request a quote from a nearby supporting dealer like Boardwalk Nissan. http://www.the370z.com/boardwalk-nis...ng-dealer.html |

Touring Model 6 speed manual $31,919 Sports package $2,602 Painted Splash Guards $165 Illuminated Kick Plate $148 Carpeted Floor Mats $89 Carpeted Trunk Mat $65 Destination Charges $695 Total Invoice $35,683 When you go to negotiate, the invoice price is the first thing you should negotiate. Everything else will flow from that. Tell them you will take at or below invoice. The tax and title is regulated. I used a payment calculator (linked here) that incorporates tax and title to give you an estimation. CA Sales Tax is 8.75%, so you will pay $3,122 in taxes Title estimated at $535 This brings your total to $39,340 Out the Door (OTD) Your next step is to figure out the financing, assuming you're not paying in full. PenFed is offering 3.99% APR to those that qualify (linked here). I don't know of any special financing offered by Nissan, but you can shop around to see if you can get a better rate than PenFed. It's a good idea to get pre-approved before going in to negotiate, because you know what rate you already have, and give Nissan a chance to beat it. If they do, then good for you, if not, then you already have a back up plan. Good Luck.
