I have a feeling they can go lower, but whereas they have to get it from another dealer, it may be harder.

Any advice/opinions on this?

Talk to the dealer in Silver Springs. They were offering the same thing for $31K before tax. OTD doesn't mean much to the rest of us in the forums as taxes and licensing vary by state, so best to stick to the actual sale price number including destination but not taxes and licensing.

For a 2010 model, I wouldn't go any higher than $29k before TTL.

Default Price Gouging?

I live in MD also, and have been following the listed internet prices at Criswell Nissan for the past 6 weeks or so. 0n March 12th a 2010 base with sport pkg, mats and splash guards was listed at $28,856 (without freight and $100 proc fee) Same car last week was $29,406............up about $600.......Today it is listed at $32,156..............that's a $3,300 price increase in 6 weeks!!!

Gouging, ya think?

With gas prices the way they are, and it being a 2-seater, it will just sit there collecting dust anyway. My only legitimate guess is there could have been some pretty good dealer kickbacks that expired. If the dealership just decided to do that on their own, they are idiots.

i paid about 31-32 grand for my 2011 base, this was at the Bel Air Dealership in Maryland (jones junction) they have a metallic silver automatic touring that i test drove and absolutely loved but it was too expensive for me, they wanted something like 37,000

so i went with the base model, and my dad and i worked the deal to our favor and they knocked another grand off the price and dropped my payments a month below 400

$30,904 includes taxes, tags and title? That's pretty good. Where I'm located taxes alone are like 9.5%.
