Default UPDATE* What should I pay for a 2009 NISMO 370Z w/4500 miles?

UPDATE 2nd Page.

Hi guys,

My name is Jb, long time lurker. I am finally moving on from the super modified tuner (Mitsu Evolution) market into something a little more refined and the Nismo 370Z has my eye.

I am looking to buy new, a 2010 model, and only in white.

With the 2011's already hitting the lots, and the end of the year coming fast...

Just wondering what I should look to be spending?

Also if anyone knows some good deals, feel free to post them up. I am in AZ btw.

Thank you,
~jb

Looks like I have also found a PW 2009 Nismo with about 4k mills on it. Guy is asking 33k.

any thoughts?

used Nismos are a better option IMO, 8-10k price difference in 1 yr....

well dealers are telling me right now they will sell 2010's for invoice.

so 37k + ttl = about 40.2k with my local sales tax figures.

or

used 2009 Nismo for 33k, and I can prob. get this down to 32-30k

Hmm I dunno used 2009 Nismo I would think would be 30k or less by now if you're going through a private party.

Since you're looking for a specific color, it'll probably be a little harder to negotiate but you should be able to get less than invoice for a 2010. Fontana Nissan was offering $2000 off invoice for regular coupes. So Nismos I think should be maybe in the $500 to $1000 below invoice range.

well in my opinion, (And I dont know to much about Z's, other than what I have been reading here)

As far as Nismo's go:

a used 2009 with low miles under 5k, is worth about 29-30k.
a new 2010, is worth about 35k.

The hardest part like you said is that I am looking for only one color so my options are limited, but I am not in any hurry so I guess time is on my side.

Yea I think those prices are reasonable.

Well not sure if time is on your side since there probably won't be new shipments of 2010 Nismos arriving at dealers. It just depends on your market and how desperate the dealers are to unload inventory.

But yea make sure you get exactly what you want

After taxes, dealer doc fees, and title/registration, I paid $37,575 for my new Nismo. Of course this might vary slightly depending on your states tax and registration fees but should be close. I used the USAA car buying service and found a dealer willing to let the car go for 2K below invoice. Def worth the time to do research using USAA's service (free). Saved me a pretty penny at the end of the day!

I just picked up my white 10' nismo 370 for 36.7. I figure I might have been able to get a better deal, however they took my trade in for a few hundrew more than it was worth.

I feel pretty good about the sale, however if I were to do it all again I would shoot for 35K on a new 10'.

35k is what I feel is fair on a 10' Nismo, did you buy locally? I see you are in AZ.

All the White Nismos I have found are in Cali, and they are stuck on 37k

I dont mind picking up a used Nismo, but I dont think they are worth more then 30k.

I would love to see you car up close, and in detail if we are close enough to each other, since no dealers around me have a Nismo, I have only seen pictures.

Yeah, Pinnacle Nissan had it on their lot, picked it up last week after searching for a few days for a white 370Z sport. (FYI: White is hard as hell to find.) After a test drive in the Nismo I was sold and honestly may have jumped a bit to quickly because I didn't get as good of a deal as I could have gotten. However, I'm not too far off and like I said they took my trade in for what I owed which IMO (given it had some body damage) was a good price. I live in North Phoenix, off of Scottsdale Rd / 101, so if your ever in the area I would be happy to let you see it.

Another local dealer has a black Nismo 370Z, they were asking 37.5 I think but you may be able to get them down if you wanted a different color.

Anywho, hit me up in PM's if you want to meet up!

LUCKY SOB!!!

I just recently made the decision to move on from the Evo, I love my Evo, I mean its great, and alot faster then the Nismo that I am looking for. But thats it, the evo interior sucks, has no features, and honestly im over having a fast car. The evo/sti (well the entire AZ street scene) community has honestly gotten to the point of being a penis measuring contest and granted yes you can make gobs of power on the cheap, drivabilty is just rubbish compared to stock.

Im not buying the Nismo Z to be a super car, or some TT monster. Im buying it to drive the hell out off, and listen to the sweet music of VQ!

AGREED! Like I mentioned in our PM's, I just left a Mazdaspeed 3 and while that car is indeed faster, I'm over it. Speed is fun but I agree with you, there's always going to be someone else with a bigger penis... I mean faster car.
