Carfax is a good way to go. Most repair shops will report any work they do. The only way it would get fixed after an accident without a carfax report

Carfax is a good way to go. Most repair shops will report any work they do. The only way it would get fixed after an accident without a carfax report is if the guy had someone on the 'inside' who did him a favor. If you're really worried, you can always ask to have a 3rd party shop put it on a lift and look it over before buying.
