This is way off topic... but Ive noticed a lot of people that drive Mazdaspeed 3's trying to get 370's. I notice this cause I also drive a Speed 3 and am trying to get a 370 lol. I just find it weird.

I am probably insane but I went from a 01 IS300 to a 05 RX330 to a 05 350Z to a 06 STI to a 08.5 Speed3 to a 09 STI to a 09 370z to a 10 Speed3 to a 10 GTI. There's also a few other vehicles in between there but I mentioned the sporty ones only. ![]() They're all a little different but all pretty fun to drive in their own way. Next car may be something more cocoon-like, like a M37 or M50, but I can't get over how expensive the infiniti's are. |

I get bored easily and yes I do lose on the taxes and fees, depreciation, etc. However, I'm willing to incur the costs associated with changing out the cars often. The '10 GTI feels way more nimble than the '10 Speed3. The Speed3 has grown is size quite a bit and it is actually larger than the last gen Mazda6. Plus, because I am getting older, and lazier, wanted to get an auto and the DSG was a nice compromise. If the prices keep dropping on the '10 Z's by this fall when the '11 will be plentiful, I may go back to a 370z touring with an auto. Just don't know yet.

The 2010 models are just now becoming readily available and we're a solid 5 months into the year. Nissan isn't like every other car mfg that releases "next year's" model in the fall of the current year. |
