If the Florida address is your main place of living you shouldn't have a problem. I doubt they would tax you for going into Canada for 6 months or less

If the Florida address is your main place of living you shouldn't have a problem. I doubt they would tax you for going into Canada for 6 months or less with a car if your main address is in Florida and your are a Canadian citizen
