Default Recent 307Z Price Increase

I only have looked at the Coupe in the Touring 7AT and the Base 7AT. I see the Invoice/MSRP prices have gone up approx. $230-250 since Feb. The 2010 coupe hasn't been out very long, at least in the northeast, yet they have already raised the price. This is for a factory order.

...hmm...Have you guys noticed that the increase in our cost of living is directly proportional to the gains/profit bankers and politicians make???...

My problem is not with the increase in cost of living...it is the fact that for most, wages don't nearly keep up and haven't for at least the last 10 years. All kinds of companies are pleading poverty...then rewarding executives with lavish salaries and perks. You wonder why the country is going to hell at such an alarming rate?

As for the Z I find it hard to believe the price would increase during the middle of a model year with no changes. I'm sure for the '11s it will increase slightly but that's expected. Are you sure it's not just something a dealer is trying to tack on for special ordering it?

This happens a lot apparently. My girlfriend just bought a 2010 VW GTI. On the dealership lot, there were two vehicles that were EXACTLY the same. They had the same exact options down to the floor mats. One was a few hundred more than the other because it had a more recent build date. It wasn't added by the dealer, the base MSRP was increased by the manufacturer on the window sticker.

Ok...maybe it does happen. I've just never seen anything like it before. And Nissan...this is not the time to be raising prices. Wonder if it has anything to do with the continuing spike in Oil prices?

They raised the prices last year as well, forget when.

Sorry about the typo.

I couldn't believe that Nissan would do a price increase so soon either. I asked Lou Fusz Nissan. He confirmed that there was an increase on the touring 7AT and posted an invoice for me of a touring 7AT and it showed a price increase plus $740 not $720 for destination.
