2020 Base 370

Anyone buying 370s new anymore? I bought a 2010 370Z based for just under 30k years ago. I sold it when I got a 2015 Lexus IS 350 AWD Fsport.

Default 2020 Base 370

Anyone buying 370s new anymore? I bought a 2010 370Z based for just under 30k years ago. I sold it when I got a 2015 Lexus IS 350 AWD Fsport. Anyway, now that I've been driving a Rogue that I bought new for several years, I'm thinking of picking up a Z again. What's the best price people are getting for base 6M 370s? Local place has a new base 2020 for $28,746.

I don't personally know anyone who has, but I imagine there are some people who still do. I didn't go that route when I got mine because to me it wasn't worth it, being that not a great deal had changed from year to year, and a new one cost so much more. I felt I would be spending thousands more for no reason other than getting it new. If you can find a 2019 or even 2018 in good condition, with good mileage, I'd go with that. Just my two cents.

I bought mine back in August , and it was probably the first 2020 they got. I specifically wanted a base model. I didn't get a deal because I walked in with my wife and said I wanted to buy the car. They had to take it off the showroom floor so we could take it for a test drive.

I am really happy with the car. It is a daily driver. I have a little over 3K miles on it now. The only problem I have had was with the A/C switch. It is a simple straight forward sports car. Naturally aspirated. Manual transmission. Oil changes don't cost $200. It is just a pleasure to drive.

I had a Datsun 280ZX Turbo 30+ years ago. That car replaced a Triumph TR 6. What a difference. At 80MPH I couldn't tell if the radio was playing there was so much noise in the TR. In the Datsun you could enjoy the FM stereo at 130MPH. In my 2020 there is still quite a bit of road noise. I just have to press on the gas a little more to enjoy the engine noise. I don't use the radio unless my wife turns it on. I drive a little more responsibly when she is in the car.

Default Why base?

Why are you interested in a base? It doesn't come with any LSD, right?

I'm in the market also. I absolutely need an LSD, but I'm not sure if I should limit myself to the version that comes with the VLSD or if having an aftermarket one put in is just as good / better.

Great investment you will really enjoy the Wavetrac vs. stock VLSD.

You will really have to shop around for the best price. The best price and Nissan dealership I was able to find in CA was Fontana Nissan. www.fontananissan.com

I am from California, and I just bought my Z from an out-of-state dealership a few weeks ago. It delivered last Friday.

I did a ton of research, internet searching, etc. I landed on the one I wanted — specifically, one with VERY few miles and in the color I liked most — and purchased it from Mayfield's Ganley Nissan in Ohio and had it delivered on a truck. It was my first 100% online/internet new car purchase. The salesman at the dealership was very accommodating, worked with us on pricing, and made the entire process very easy. We got the price down to something that was extremely reasonable. They really wanted to move the car, as it had been in their showroom for quite some time, and apparently this car isn't too popular/desirable in that neck of the woods. My previous new car purchase was my 2006 Acura TL, which I just handed down to my older son. I bought that car brand new, drove it off the lot, and all of that business; but the process was very different at that time. iPhones didn't even exist yet, just to put in perspective how long ago it was. I remember the bluetooth feature being "cool, but I'll never use it." Ha. Oh, how wrong I was about that.

Needless to say, I was long overdue for something sporty and fun, and the Z was the perfect choice for what I was seeking. My first car when I was 16 years old was an old 1981 280ZX, so this was me coming full circle. I had been looking to save money on this vehicle purchase and not go too crazy with the midlife crisis thing, and as such I was originally looking at model years that were a year or two old. After searching through tons of offers from dealers on used vehicles, I saw how much they were asking on a pretty consistent basis and so I figured that a brand new one was just a better value for me because for not much more, you could get something new. I felt better about putting my own funk on it from the beginning of its life instead of inheriting who-knows-what from a previous owner.

Anyway, I'm loving my new Z purchase — and I hope you find something awesome in your journey as well!

If you're in Fresno, give the Nissan guys in Bakersfield a call. They will try to beat Fontana Nissan where mine came from.

Thank you for the information, all. I'm still looking around for something that jumps out at me. Looking within 250 miles of me in CA, so I'll contact Bakersfield and Fontana to see what they will do. I'm leaning towards a 2018+ M6 Sport Coupe.

Found two 2020 6MT sport coupes that I'm probably going to go with. They're listed on autotrader for $30,119(gun metallic) and $30,474(pearl white) from Pedder Nissan in Hemet, CA. I've been searching to see what prices people are paying for new 6MT sport Z's and can't find anything concrete. Does anyone have any idea what I should offer on these, or just take it at the listed price on Autotrader? It already seems to be about $1,500 below what other dealers closer to me were offering over the phone/email. Leaning towards the PW color since that's what my last one was.

Back in February I bought my 2020 Base Manual in that wonderful white color. It had 8k miles, alloy wheels, backup camera upgrades. I got it for $32k and got it out of Pleasanton, CA.

It's a daily driver, I've driven it 12k miles. An LSD would be nice. I'm going to add one next year.
