Shipping a Z

What's up guys, im looking to buy a 2016 Nismo Tech and I have been doing some reasearch on shipping companies and can not make up my mind on which to go with. Have any of you shipped your Z and if so with who and for how much? My shipping will be from Mckiney Texas to California.

Any advice or recommendations will be helpful.

Call plenty of shippers and be ready to negotiate as theres room to do so. Sandy utah to south east Pennsylvania at $800.00 in 2015. i forget the company but they did it no problems. im guesing you are in the 500 range at best ?

I attempted to go through this process... The shipping company ("Montway" IIRC?) constantly delayed the pick up for weeks. Most of the bargain companies try to find room on trucks and negotiate it.. any "guarantee" they give you on timing is a big load of crap. After getting the run around repeatedly I was forced to go on a social media storm over it and it finally got some attention from the company.. but before they could make good on the deal my friend's retired dad saw my posts and offered to drive it down down for me (PA to FL) for the cost of airfare/expenses so I went with that option.

I'm in the process of doing the same thing, shipping a 2016 nismo tech to pa from a mid atlantic state. I am awaiting a quote from reliable carriers inc.

Texas is one of the more popular locations for carriers to ship to CA so you might get a decent deal with a company willing to do the job for the average market price. From that distance you're looking at $900-$1200 depending how fast you want it delivered. Doesn't really matter what company you go with, they all use the same system from what I was told. I received a price of $1,100.00 for a covered carrier and $350.00 for open transport. I went with the open and carrier insurance.

Got mine shipped from Pennsylvania to Florida. No damage but in absolute disgusting shape. Get a closed trailer.

Also don't go with company that says they can get it to you unusually faster than other companies. They wont.....believe me!

One more thing don't publish your cell number on any public sites for quotes. They will hound you forever!

Don't go for the cheapest quote or fastest transit..... go middle of the road with someone who seems trustworthy.

Thank you all for your inputs I actually called many places like you guys said but the dealer ended up selling it which was kind of frustrating but at the same time I was able to find one the very next day only 6 hours away from me!
